Dear xoyondo-users,
If you found the best day in your date poll or the best option in your opinion poll you can now finalize it. Just click on the ‘lock’-symbol in the admin area of your poll and mark the best date / best option as definitive. Your participants won’t be able to vote once your poll is locked. If something changes you can easily open it again afterwards and modify it in the usual way.
You can now also give your participants the possibility to import the chosen date directly in their Google/Yahoo/Outlook/Apple-calendars.
If you have any questions concerning this new feature, please contact us.
Happy scheduling,
xoyondo.com
I just started using your polls, and they are great!
I am missing one thing.. since I live in Israel, when I finalize the poll I would want my participants to be able to add the appointment to their calendar.. but my timezone is missing.
In Israel we use GMT+2 Jerusalem, but it is not like GMT+2 Beirut or GMT+2 Johannesburg.
Can you please add it?
Thanks.
Itay.
Hi. Thanks a lot for your interest and this information. We are happy to have users from Israel!
I added the timezone GMT+2 Jerusalem to the list. Only the automatic timezone detection might not work properly since I am using an external script for that and your timezone might not be supported. But of course you can select it manually. Please let me know if you encounter any problems. Thanks!
One more question: Would it be useful for you if Xoyondo was translated to Hebrew or do you usually use websites in English? What about the average user in Israel? Thanks a lot!
Alexander
Hi!
Thanks for the quick reply and super-quick support..
Indeed, the ‘automatic timezone detection’ did not work, but once selected manually – it worked like a charm! 🙂
Regarding your inquiry about the Translation to Hebrew (עברית), I really don’t see an urgent need for that (since most Israelis are proficient in English) – but if you wish – I can gladly assist.
You have my email address – so feel free to contact me.
Hi Itay,
thanks a lot for your reply and your offer. I will definitely consider translating it (and will be glad for any help), but this will probably not happen in the next few months since I plan a few updates and new features. New languages usually make this more complicated. As you say it might not be that urgent anyway.
Thanks again!
